Web Viewer 1.0 release
We’re pleased to announce the release of Web Viewer 1.0, now available and compatible with TopView version 7.6.
This 1.0 release marks an important milestone for the Web Viewer, establishing a stable and reliable foundation for continued development.
Our focus since release last year has been on improving performance, strengthening system efficiency, and ensuring consistent behavior during long-running use, justifying a full “version 1.0”.

A key area of improvement in this release is memory management and efficiency. To achieve this, we:
- Replacing a third-party database component to improve reliability
- Introducing more efficient caching mechanisms
- Reducing internal data usage to lower overall memory pressure
Improvements
In addition to performance enhancements, version 1.0 includes several platform upgrades and usability improvements:
- Upgrade to Microsoft’s .NET 10 LTS, the latest long-term support release
- User interface improvements across the Configuration and browser applications
- General refinements and bug fixes throughout the system
These updates help ensure that Web Viewer is both modern and maintainable moving forward.
