TopView Configurator
The TopView Configurator allows you to create TopView configuration
files (*.cfg). Each configuration file defines the tags, operations
(calculations), alarm conditions and alarm notification settings for
one TopView Window

Updated user interface with new Global Options screen for all
non-default TopView settings.

New email recipient drop-down (all existing recipients) when adding
recipients to an email notification group.

Ability to edit existing Tag Group names.

TopView Window
The TopView Window is the alarming and notification engine for
TopView. Each running TopView Window operates on the details of a
single configuration file created with the TopView Configurator. You
can run multiple TopView Windows for multiple configuration files.

addition to row font color, a new "Alarm" column to signal rows
in alarm (bell icon signals row is unacknowledged)

Remote Viewer (Desktop)
The
TopView Remote Viewer allows TopView users to monitor TopView
Windows and acknowledge alarms from anywhere on the network. The
Remote Viewer can now display the Remote Viewer icon in the System
Notification Area of your desktop. The icon will display new alarm
messages in a pop-up bubble as they occur in remote TopView Windows.

As with
previous versions, TopView 6.0 includes the TopView Configurator and
TopView Window (the engine).
Two new
components have been added to TopView 6.0:
TopView Admin Tools
Designed for detailed monitoring of running TopView Windows.
Runs on the TopView machine.

Audible Alarms settings

Monitor the outgoing email, modem, and voice notification queues

Monitor current connections from the Remote Viewer

TopView Information Icon
The TopView Information Icon runs in the System Notification
Area of the computer that is running TopView.

The
TopView Information Icon can be used to:

Listen to new Audible Alarms (optional)

View TopView Windows that are minimized to the Icon
-
Monitor the current list of running TopView Windows

Launch the TopView Configurator or TopView Admin Tools
